Secret Recipe Promo: Buy 1 Free 1 Cake
At 10.00 am today, while EL and I were returning from our weekly wet-marketing in SS2, we beheld this unusual scene:
Why were there so many people queuing up at a time when most of the retail shops are still closed? And where was the human line heading to?
Why, they were waiting for Secret Recipe to open shop! What’s happening there???
I know the picture above is badly taken by moi 
But if you look closely, you can see that there is red promotion banner in front of the shop. Secret Recipe is having a not-too-be-missed offer in conjunction with its 11th anniversary which is get 1 FREE whole cake when you purchase 1 whole cake on the 11th of November (one day only, mind you) at 11 of its outlets (SS2 is one of them) at 11.00am. A whole lot of 1s there, huh?
It’s a wonderful deal for those who are celebrating multiple birthdays this month (pity you), as a gift to family and friends (can I have one too?), crazy cake lovers (eating two huge and very filling Secret Recipe cakes is no joke, okay?) and for those who have lots of storage space in the fridge(s) (refer to the second point).
Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?
